Yard of the Month 2008
Nominations for Keep Belmont Beautiful Yard of the Month program are encouraged. Call
704-825-8587 and give the address, and if possible the name of the homeowner or business
as well as your name and phone number. Nominations should be made by the first of each
month so judging can be done by the 10th. Awards will be
announced on the 15th.
Mission Statement
Keep Belmont Beautiful, as an affiliate of
Keep America Beautiful, working in partnership with the City of
Belmont, North Carolina, educates and involves the community in litter and
waste reduction, recycling, beautification and natural resource conservation.
Ongoing Plans
Keep Belmont Beautiful determined that a long-range solution to litter
reduction and recycling is educating the City's young people, general citizenry
and community leaders.

Keep Belmont Beautiful has implemented a city wide litter prevention and
recycling program through example and volunteer actions of local citizens.
